Pharmacodynamics Enterosgel / Enterosgel with Sweet Taste - an inert silicon-organic compound. When used, it has a sorption effect. The drug effectively adsorbs medium molecular toxic substances of exo- and endogenous origin, products of incomplete metabolism, incorporated radionuclides and naturally removes them from the body.

Enterosgel eliminates the manifestations of toxicosis, improves the function of the intestines, liver, kidneys, normalizes the physiological parameters of blood and urine.

Indications

As part of a comprehensive detoxification therapy for chronic renal failure caused by pyelonephritis, polycystic kidney disease, nephrolithiasis; with toxic hepatitis, viral hepatitis a and b, hepatocholecystitis, cirrhosis and cholestasis of various etiologies, gastritis with low acidity, enterocolitis, colitis, diarrhea; in case of poisoning with alcohol and drugs; allergic reactions, skin diseases (diathesis, neurodermatitis), with burn intoxication; purulent-septic processes that are accompanied by intoxication; toxicosis of pregnant women in the first half of pregnancy; in the treatment of intestinal dysbiosis.

Application

Enterosgel / Enterosgel with a sweet taste

Apply orally 3 times a day for 1.5–2 hours before or 2 hours after eating or taking medicines, drinking plenty of water.

For adults and children over the age of 14, a single dose is 15 g (tablespoon), daily - 45 g.

For children from birth to 5 years: a single dose is 5 g (teaspoon), daily - 15 g; at the age of 5-14 years - a single dose - 10 g (dessert spoon), daily - 30 g.

The course of treatment is from 7 to 14 days. In severe forms of the disease, the use of a single dose during the first three days is possible, and in the chronic course of the disease (chronic renal failure), the drug can be used for a longer time (up to 1 month).

Enterosgel ExtraCaps

Apply in 1-2 capsules 2-3 times a day for 1.5–2 hours before or 2 hours after ingestion of food or medicines, drinking plenty of water.

For adults and children over the age of 14, a single dose is 1-2 capsules, daily - 6 capsules.

For children aged 6-14 years, a single dose is 1 capsule, daily - 3 capsules.

The course of treatment is from 7 to 14 days.

In severe forms of the disease, a double single dose is used during the first 3 days, and in the chronic course of the disease (chronic renal failure, cirrhosis of the liver), a longer use of the drug is possible.

Contraindications

Acute intestinal obstruction. hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side effects

When taking the drug, dyspeptic phenomena are possible. in the first days of taking the drug, constipation may develop. to prevent it, people who are prone to constipation, in the first 2 days of taking the drug, a cleansing enema at night or the use of laxatives (lactulose, sodium picosulfate) are recommended. hypersensitivity reactions are possible.

Subject to the method of use (enterosgel and drugs taken at intervals of 1.5–2 hours), the drug can be used in combination therapy with other drugs and prophylactic drugs, including prebiotics and probiotics (bifidum, lactobacilli), herbal remedies, adaptogens, immunomodulators.

Use during pregnancy and lactation. The drug can be used during pregnancy and lactation. The use of pregnant women prone to developing constipation should be limited.

Children. Enterosgel / Enterosgel with Sweet Taste. The drug is used in children from birth. Children under 2 years of age before use, a single dose of the drug is mixed with a small amount of water.

Enterosgel ExtraCaps. The drug can be used for children from 6 years. To facilitate swallowing, a capsule (single dose) can be opened before use and mixed with a small amount of liquid.

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms. Does not affect.

Interactions

Enterosgel / Enterosgel with a sweet taste. the drug may reduce the effect of other drugs that are used with it. simultaneous administration with drugs belonging to the class of bile acid sequestrants, such as cholestyramine, is not recommended due to the increased likelihood of developing constipation.

The drug should not be used in conjunction with silver preparations.

Enterosgel ExtraCaps. Subject to compliance with the method of application (Enterosgel ExtraCaps and drugs are taken separately), the drug can be used in combination therapy with other drugs and prophylactic drugs, including bacterial drugs (bifidum, lactobacilli), herbal medicines, adaptogens, immunomodulators. The simultaneous administration of bile acid sequestrant agents, such as cholestyramine, is not recommended due to an increased likelihood of constipation.

The drug should not be used simultaneously with silver preparations.

Overdose

Cases of drug overdose are not described. with an overdose, side effects may intensify.
