Indications

Physical and emotional overloads, stresses, astheno-vegetative syndrome (increased fatigue, decreased performance, neurasthenia, sleep disturbances), as part of the complex treatment of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, the period of convalescence after severe infectious diseases.

As a preventive measure for people who work under conditions of exposure to chemical, radiation and temperature factors and to improve immunity.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, acute and chronic poisoning with various chemicals, severe forms of coronary heart disease and essential hypertension, severe violations of the liver and kidneys, epilepsy, alcoholism, pregnancy, lactation, childhood.

Dosage and administration

The Vigor balm is prescribed orally by 20-30 ml 2-3 times a day with meals. The course of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the nature and course of the disease. The average course of treatment is 14 days, if necessary it can be extended up to 30 days.

A second course is possible according to the doctor’s prescription after a break of taking the drug lasting 5-7 days.

Adverse reactions

With individual intolerance to the components of the drug, allergic reactions are possible.

Changes in the skin and subcutaneous tissue: skin rash, redness of the skin, itching, swelling of the skin, urticaria. In such cases, the drug is canceled.

From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting.

Neurological disorders are possible with prolonged use of balm in doses exceeding the recommended ones: increased blood pressure, headache, development of alcohol dependence.

Overdose

Symptoms

Signs of intoxication, respiratory depression, with severe poisoning coma.

Treatment

Immediate evacuation of gastric contents (induce vomiting and rinse the stomach), symptomatic therapy; in severe cases - infusion of a 40% glucose solution with thiamine chloride, oxygen therapy, forced diuresis, mechanical ventilation.

With prolonged use of the balm in doses exceeding the recommended, an increase in blood pressure, headache, and the development of alcohol dependence are possible.

Use during pregnancy or lactation

Vigor balm is not recommended for pregnant women and women during breastfeeding.

Children

Vigor balm is not recommended for children.

Application features

In connection with the sugar content, caution is prescribed for patients with diabetes mellitus.

Interaction with other drugs and other types of interactions

With the simultaneous use of a balm with nitrofurans, metronidazole, an antabuse-like effect is possible, with oral antidiabetic drugs, sulfanilic acid derivatives - the development of hypoglycemic coma, with acetylsalicylic acid - an increased risk of developing stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcers, with hypnotics - oppression.
