Pharmacological properties
The drug venosmin has a venotonic and angioprotective effect, increases venous tone, reduces the extensibility of veins and venostasis, improves microcirculation, reduces the permeability of capillaries and increases their resistance, improves lymphatic drainage, increasing lymphatic outflow.
The drug also reduces the interaction of leukocytes and endothelium, the adhesion of leukocytes in postcapillary venules. This reduces the damaging effect of inflammatory mediators on the walls of the veins and sash of their valves.

Indications

Application
For oral use, is prescribed to adults.
Chronic insufficiency of veins and lymphatic vessels (symptoms: swelling, pain, heaviness in the legs, night cramps, trophic ulcers, lymphedema): 2 tablets per day (in 2 divided doses) with meals. After 1 week of use, you can take 2 tablets per day once with meals.
Chronic hemorrhoids: 2 tablets per day (in 2 divided doses) with meals. After a week of use, you can take 2 tablets per day once with meals.
Acute hemorrhoids: 6 tablets per day for the first 4 days and 4 tablets per day for the next 3 days. Apply with food. The daily number of tablets is divided into 2-3 doses.
A course of treatment. The duration of therapy depends on the indications for use and the course of the disease. The average duration of treatment is 2-3 months.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Side effects
From the nervous system: dizziness, headache, malaise.
From the digestive system: diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, colitis.
