Pharmacological properties

tenonitrozole is a synthetic compound with trichomonacid action against trichomonas vaginalis and fungistatic action against fungi of the genus candida spp.

Pharmacokinetics After oral administration, Atrikan is well absorbed in the intestines. Application

The drug is taken orally.

Acute trichomoniasis: 1 capsule in the morning and evening with food for 4 days. In chronic torpid processes, a longer or combined therapy is possible. Simultaneous treatment of the sexual partner is recommended, regardless of the presence of clinical symptoms of the disease.

Contraindications

Acute or chronic liver failure, hypersensitivity to the components of the drug (or cross-sensitivity), alcohol consumption.

Side effects

General weakness, dyspeptic symptoms (bitterness in the mouth, nausea, anorexia, feeling of fullness of the stomach, pain and discomfort in the epigastrium region), staining of urine and tear fluid in yellow, manifestations from the skin (yellowness of the skin, dermatitis, urticaria, itching, hyperemia, papular rash), headache, dizziness, dermatitis.

In the presence of precursors of diseases of the blood system or in the case of repeated treatment, it is recommended to monitor the leukocyte formula. do not drink alcohol during treatment.

Treatment should be simultaneous for both sexual partners. Since tenonitrozole is partially secreted by tear fluid, staining of the sclera in yellow is possible during the period of taking the drug. Therefore, during treatment with the drug, it is advisable not to use contact lenses to avoid staining. A change in the color of urine is also possible. These effects disappear after discontinuation of treatment and do not cause any harm to health.

Use during pregnancy and lactation. It is not recommended to use the drug for pregnant women (data on potential teratogenicity and embryotoxicity in humans are not available). When using the drug, it is necessary to stop breastfeeding (the drug passes into breast milk).

Children. The drug Atrican 250 is not prescribed for children.

Interactions
