Pharmacological properties

The chondroprotective properties of the drug are due to the complex action of the active substances of the aromatic martinia extract, which inhibit not only inflammatory mediators, but also cartilage destruction mediators: tnf-α, il-1β, matrix metalloproteinases, no and elastase. it has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, inhibits the synthesis of inflammatory cytokines, promotes the suppression of matrix metalloproteinases in chondrocytes, which causes inhibition of inflammatory processes.

Indications

They are used both as monotherapy and in the complex treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as:

• diseases accompanied by back pain;
• inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system (arthritis, tendonitis, tenosynovitis);
• degenerative joint diseases (coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis, spondylarthrosis);
• osteochondrosis and osteochondropathy, as well as a chondroprotector to prevent joint damage during intense exertion (sports, work associated with heavy physical exertion).

Application

1 tablet 2 times a day with meals at regular intervals, drinking plenty of water. application period - from 4 to 16 weeks. repeated courses are recommended 2 times a year (in the spring and autumn periods with exacerbation of chronic diseases).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to harpagophytum or other components of the drug; gastric and duodenal ulcer, gallstone disease.

Side effects

From the gastrointestinal tract (rarely): diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain.

From the immune system (very rare): increased sensitization.

From the nervous system (very rare): headache, dizziness, increased sweating.

Overdose
