Streptodornase, Streptokinase

Rectal suppositories "SK-SD, streptokinase-streptodornase" are used for the following indications:

• chronic inflammatory processes of the uterine appendages;
• postoperative infiltrative lesions of the pelvic organs;
• endometritis;
• hemorrhoids in acute and chronic course;
• pararectal abscesses and fistulas with inflammatory infiltration;
• purulent caudal cysts.

Structure

1 suppository contains (active ingredients):

• streptokinase - 15,000 IU;
• streptodornases - 1250 IU.

Excipients: mineral oil, solid fat.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients of the drug;
• the presence of a fresh wound, surgical suture or bleeding up to 10 days (this can lead to relaxation of sutures and, as a result, bleeding from the wound);
• simultaneous use with anticoagulants, which can lead to local bleeding;
• blood clotting disorder.

Mode of application

Apply rectally. Suppositories enter deep into the rectum, first remove the suppository from the blister. Wash hands thoroughly before and after use.

Dosage

The course of treatment is 4-18 suppositories. The duration of the course is 2-9 days.

The dosage is prescribed by the doctor in accordance with the intensity of the inflammatory process.

In severe and chronic course of the disease:

• one suppository 3 times a day for the first 3 days;
• one suppository 2 times a day for the next 3 days;
• one suppository once a day for another 3 next days.

The course of treatment is 9 days, 18 suppositories.

With a moderate course of the disease:

• one suppository 2 times a day for the first 3 days;
• one suppository once a day for the next 4 days.

The course of treatment is 7 days, 10 suppositories.

With a mild course of the disease - one suppository 2 times a day for 2 days.

The course of treatment is 2 days, 4 suppositories.

If there is no result or in case of relapse, the doctor must determine the need for a second course of treatment.

Pregnant women

The effect of the drug “SK-SD, streptokinase-streptodornase” on fertility, pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding has not been studied.

Children

The drug is not prescribed for children.

Drivers

The drug does not have the ability to affect the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.

Overdose

Data on an overdose of streptokinase and streptodornase are not available.

Side effects

Sometimes it can be observed: local pain, swelling or slight bleeding, irritation, diarrhea, allergic reactions, fever.
