Stilen tablets are indicated for use:
- for the treatment of lesions of the gastric mucosa (erosion, hemorrhage, hyperemia, edema) in acute and chronic gastritis; gastritis caused by Helicobacter pylory infection (in case of simultaneous administration of drugs used to eradicate Helicobacter pylory);
- for the prevention of gastritis caused by the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Structure
One coated tablet contains:
- active substance: 60 mg of Artemisiae Argyi wormwood leaf extract, mild (20: 1), containing 0.48-1.44 mg of eupatilin and 0.15-0.45 mg of jaiseosidine, 95% ethanol extractant;
- excipients: microcrystalline cellulose; lactose monohydrate, poloxamer; croscarmellose sodium; calcium silicate; talcum magnesium stearate;
- coating: Opadry white (Opadry® OY-C-7000A (white)), Opadry Green (Opadry® 80W41066 (Green *)), Opaglos transparent (Opaglos® 97W19196 (Clear)).

Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
- hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome.
Mode of application
The drug is prescribed orally 20-30 minutes before meals, one tablet 3 times a day.
The maximum single dose is one tablet.
The maximum daily dose is 3 tablets.
The duration of treatment is 2-4 weeks.
Application features
Pregnant women
The use of the drug is contraindicated (increases the tone of the uterus).
It is not known whether the drug passes into breast milk. Therefore, it should not be used by breastfeeding.
Children
Due to the lack of experience with the use of children, "Stilen" should not be prescribed to patients under 18 years of age.
Drivers
Studies of the effect of the drug on the ability to drive vehicles and other mechanisms have not been conducted.
Overdose
A study of overdose cases with the use of tablets has not been conducted.
Side effects
From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, anorexia, diarrhea, vomiting, heartburn and pain in the upper abdomen were sometimes observed.
From the nervous system: dizziness and headache were sometimes observed.
From the skin and subcutaneous tissue: sometimes a rash and itching were observed.
From the hepatobiliary system: sometimes there was an increase in ALT levels.
There are reports of facial edema, although a causal relationship with the use of the drug "Stilen" has not been established.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, out of the reach of children.
Shelf life is 3 years.
