Pharmacological properties

The components that make up the drug solidagoren determine nine of its main pharmacological effects: antimicrobial, immunomodulating, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic, diuretic, antispasmodic, astringent and anticalculus.

Antimicrobial effect: exhibits moderate / high activity against a wide range of uropathogens represented by G⁺-bacteria, G^–-bacteria and fungi.

Anti-inflammatory effect: causes a decrease in the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α), inhibits the proteases involved in the development of inflammation (leukocyte elastase), stimulates the production of hormones that inhibit inflammation (GCS).

Diuretic effect: close in strength to hydrochlorothiazide, however, it does not cause electrolyte disturbances.

Antispasmodic effect: relaxes smooth muscles due to non-competitive blockade of M₂- them₃-muscarinic receptors, as well as due to the antispasmodic effect of flavonoids.

Anticalculus action: reduces stone formation in the kidneys due to diuretic (“leaching” of sand from the kidneys) and antiseptic (protecting the urinary tract epithelium from bacterial attack) action; contains saponins, which destroy the suspension of mucoproteins, slowing down the crystallization processes during the formation of stones; perhaps the drug changes the pH of the urine, which helps dissolve the stones.

Anesthetic effect: reduces the severity of pain by eliminating inflammation and antispasmodic action; in addition, it has its own (not associated with a decrease in the severity of inflammation and elimination of spasms) analgesic effect, in particular, due to antagonism with bradykinin receptors.

Immunomodulatory effect: stimulates the phagocytic activity of macrophages, activates natural killer cells (NK cells).

Antioxidant activity: exhibits moderate / high antioxidant activity.

Astringent effect: exhibits astringent properties due to its high silicon content.

Indications

The main (basic) therapy for acute and chronic infections of the urinary tract, bladder (cystitis), kidneys (pyelonephritis), as well as in the complex treatment of these diseases.

Prevention of the formation of stones in the bladder, including after their removal.

Application

Adults and children over the age of 12 take orally 20-30 drops of the drug solidagoren with 100-200 ml of water 3 times a day. 30 drops correspond to 1.4 ml.

Drinking fluid during the day when taking Solidagoren should be at least 1.5–2 liters.

Regarding the duration of use of the drug, you should consult your doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any other components of the drug. should not be used in case of allergy to plants of the asteraceae family (asteraceae), since they are used in the production of plant extract, which is part of solidagorene.

Side effects

Very rarely observed hypersensitivity reactions and allergic reactions, mild gastrointestinal upsets. in case of the first signs of an allergic reaction (for example, a rash), the drug should be discontinued. in case of side effects not listed in the instructions, you must consult a doctor.

special instructions

It is not recommended to use solidagoren as a diuretic to eliminate edema caused by heart or kidney failure.

In case of blood in the urine, high body temperature or if the symptoms of the disease persist for more than 5 days, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

The drug contains 45 vol.% Alcohol. With each intake of the recommended dose (30 drops), 0.6 g of alcohol enters the body.

Use during pregnancy and lactation.The drug is used during pregnancy and lactation only after the doctor has assessed the ratio of the benefits to the mother and the risk to the fetus (child).

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or working with other mechanisms. If the drug is observed in recommended doses, it does not affect the reaction rate.

Children. The drug is not intended for use in children under the age of 12 years.

Interactions

Cases of interaction with other drugs are unknown.

Due to the presence of alcohol in the composition, the effect on the action of other drugs is possible.

Overdose

No messages. in case of an overdose, an increase in side effects is possible.

Storage conditions

At a temperature not exceeding 25 ° c. after opening the bottle, store for 3 months.
