PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:

Holosas is a choleretic drug that enhances the formation of bile and bile acids. The effect of the drug is due to the content in the rosehip of organic acids and flavonoids.

INDICATIONS:

as an aid in chronic non-calculous cholecystitis, cholangitis, chronic hepatitis; with C- and P-hypovitaminosis; drug and alcohol intoxications.

APPLICATION:

Holosas is taken orally 30 minutes before a meal. Adults and children over 14 years of age - 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 2-3 times a day. For children, the drug is used as prescribed by a doctor aged 3 to 6 years - 1.25 (¼ teaspoon) 2-3 times a day; from 6 to 14 years - 2.5 ml (½ teaspoon) 2-3 times a day. The duration of use depends on the nature and severity of the disease and concomitant therapy.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. Bile duct obstruction, calculous cholecystitis.

SIDE EFFECTS:

allergic reactions (rash on the skin, itching, redness of the skin) are possible.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

use with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus (the drug contains sugar), as well as patients prone to the development of allergic reactions.
