The special composition of the cream exhibits hydrating properties, increases the severity of the antibacterial and antifungal effects of zinc pyrithione, helps to eliminate burning and itching. Activated zinc pyrithionate contained in the cream inhibits the abnormal growth of cells of the surface layers of the skin, which are in a state of pathological hyperproliferation, eliminates excessive peeling in psoriasis and other skin diseases. The drug acts against microorganisms located both on the surface and in the deep layers of the epidermis.

For external use of zinc, pyrithionate is deposited in the surface (epidermal) layers of the skin. Systemic absorption occurs slowly. It is detected in the blood in trace amounts.

Indications

Psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic eczema in adults and children over the age of 1 year, especially with extensive forms, as well as with itching, irritation, inflammation and increased dryness of the skin.

Application

Lubricate affected skin 2 times a day. with psoriasis, the course of treatment is 1–1.5 months, with atopic dermatitis - 3-4 weeks, with other diseases the cream is prescribed until the symptoms disappear completely. with residual effects (hyperemia, dryness, peeling, pigmentation), the cream continues to be used for 1-2 weeks.

Contraindications

Avoid contact with eyes. in case of increasing the frequency of application of the cream, a slight short-term local burning of the skin may occur.

The drug can be used during remission for maintenance therapy and prevention of relapse, which allows you to quickly eliminate the manifest phase and accelerate clinical recovery. During remission, the cream is applied to areas of the skin when the first signs of an exacerbation of the disease appear.

Use during pregnancy and lactation. During pregnancy and lactation, the drug is used only when the benefits of the application outweigh the potential risk to the fetus / baby. The cream should not be applied to the nipples during lactation.

Children. Do not use in children under the age of 1 year.
