Proproten-100

Tablets "Proproten-100" are used for the prevention and treatment of alcohol withdrawal syndrome of mild to moderate severity.

Structure

One tablet contains (active ingredient) antibodies to the brain-specific protein S-100 affinity-purified C1000 - 3 mg.

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
• During pregnancy and breastfeeding;
• lactase deficiency, lactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Mode of application

The drug is taken orally. Do not use with food. Use one tablet at a time. The tablet is kept in the mouth (preferably without chewing or swallowing) until completely dissolved.

In the first 2 hours (with a hangover), take one tablet every 30 minutes; in the next 8-10 hours - one tablet every hour. In case of sleep, the drug should be resumed after waking up. In the future, when the condition improves, prescribe one tablet every 2-3 hours (4-6 tablets per day) until the manifestations of alcohol withdrawal completely disappear. With severe symptoms of alcohol withdrawal, therapy should be combined with drugs that are used traditionally for detoxification.

To prevent relapse in order to reduce the pathological craving for alcohol, take two tablets per day for 6 months; after accidental drinking, take an additional two tablets 2 times a day, in the evening.

Application features

Children

There are no data on the efficacy and safety of the use of the drug for children; therefore, Proproten-100 should not be prescribed to patients of this age category.

Drivers

When using the drug, one should refrain from driving vehicles and working with potentially dangerous mechanisms.

Overdose

In case of accidental overdose, dyspeptic symptoms are possible due to the components that make up the drug.

Side effects

Possible reactions of increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

Isolated cases of short-term (5-10 minutes) accommodation disturbance (“double in the eyes”).

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life is 3 years.
