Povidone

Wet-Comod eye drops are indicated for fatigue, burning and / or dry eyes, especially in cases caused by intensive work at the computer or prolonged viewing of television programs.

Structure

Active ingredient: povidone, 1 ml contains 20 mg of povidone;

Excipients: sorbitol (E 420), citric acid, sodium citrate dihydrate, sodium hydroxide, water for injection.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of the drug.

Mode of application

The drug is instilled 1 drop in each eye, and it can be instilled daily at any desired frequency. Usually enough 4-5 instillations per day. Wet-Comod is intended for individual use by only one person. When instilling eye drops, any contact between the tip of the container and the eye or skin should be avoided.

It is recommended to start driving or working with mechanisms some time after dripping drops, provided that the clarity of vision is restored.

Overdose

With proper use of the phenomena of overdose or intoxication is not expected. In case of local ophthalmic overdose, medical intervention is not required. There are no data on therapeutic measures for accidental oral administration of the drug.

Side effects

Since the drug does not contain preservatives, it is well tolerated even with prolonged use. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions or allergies have been reported, such as burning, lacrimation, redness, temporary blurring of vision, foreign body sensation, itching, swelling, pain, inflammation, irritation, swelling of the eyelids or faces that disappeared immediately after drug withdrawal .

Interaction

Since Vet-Komod with local ophthalmic administration immediately reaches the target organ and primarily detects a physical effect (moisturizing the surface of the eye) and does not have a systemic effect, it is not known of any interactions with drugs other than physical interactions with eye drops for local use .
