Pharmacological properties

normoven has a venotonic and angioprotective effect, increases venous tone, reduces stretching of veins and venostasis, improves microcirculation, reduces capillary permeability and increases their resistance, improves lymphatic drainage, increasing lymphatic outflow.

The drug also reduces the interaction of leukocytes with endothelial cells, the adhesion of leukocytes in postcapillary venules. This reduces the damaging effect of inflammatory mediators on the walls of the veins and valve leaflets.

Pharmacokinetics T_½ the drug is 11 hours

Excretion of the active substance of the drug occurs mainly through the intestines. With urine, an average of 14% of the dose taken is excreted.

Indications

Symptomatic treatment of venolymphatic insufficiency (heaviness in the legs, pain, swelling). symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids.

Application

For oral use; appointed by adults.

Treatment of venolymphatic insufficiency (symptoms: swelling, pain, heaviness in the legs, night cramps, trophic ulcers, lymphedema, etc.).

The recommended dose is 2 tablets per day: 1 tablet in the afternoon and 1 tablet in the evening, with meals. After a week of use, you can take 2 tablets per day once with meals.

Treatment of chronic hemorrhoids. 2 tablets per day (in 2 divided doses) with meals. After a week of use, you can take 2 tablets per day once with meals.

Treatment of acute hemorrhoids. 6 tablets per day for 4 days, then 4 tablets per day for the next 3 days. Apply with food. Distribute the daily number of tablets into 2-3 doses.

A course of treatment. The duration of treatment depends on the indications for use and the course of the disease. The average duration of treatment is 2-3 months.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.

Side effects

From the nervous system: dizziness, headache, malaise.

From the digestive system: diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting; colitis.

On the part of the skin and subcutaneous tissue: rash, itching, urticaria; isolated swelling of the face, lips, eyelids. In exceptional cases, Quinckes edema.

Due to the yellow sunset FCF contained in the drug, allergic reactions are possible.

special instructions

The use of this drug in acute hemorrhoids does not replace specific treatment and does not interfere with the treatment of other proctologic diseases. if within a short course of treatment the symptoms do not disappear quickly, a proctological examination should be carried out and therapy should be reviewed.

In case of impaired venous circulation, a more effective treatment is provided by a combination of therapy in compliance with such lifestyle recommendations:

• Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, long-term standing, excess body weight;
• you should walk and in some cases wear special stockings to improve blood circulation.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding. Pregnant drug should be prescribed with caution. Before use, consult your doctor.

It is known that the combination of active substances that make up the drug does not have a teratogenic effect; no side effects have been reported.

Due to the lack of data on the penetration of the drug into breast milk, the use of the drug during lactation should be avoided.

Available data indicate the absence of the effect of active substances on rat fertility.

Children. There are no data on the use of Normoven in children.

Interactions

No studies have been conducted regarding interactions. interaction with other drugs has not yet been reported (taking into account the large post-registration experience with the use of the drug).
