

Tavipec has a secretolytic, expectorant, mucolytic, epithelizing, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, immunostimulating effect. the secretolytic effect of the drug is manifested in an increase in mucociliary clearance. mucolytic and expectorant effect is manifested by rarefaction of mucus and increased functional activity of the ciliary epithelium, contributing to the quick and easy release of mucus from the respiratory tract. the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity of tavipec is due to the bactericidal and anti-inflammatory properties of lavender essential oil and is manifested in the inhibition of the overall growth of bacteria. Lavender essential oil in vitro studies inhibits the overall growth of bacteria and fungi, including mycobacterium tuberculosis, while not affecting the normal intestinal microflora. tavipec deactivates staphylococcal toxin - alpha hemolysin and streptococcal toxin - streptolysin. tavipec stimulates non-specific links of immunity by activating cellular immunity, increasing the phagocytic activity of leukocytes.
