The drug "Laminaria thallus (sea kale)" is used for the following indications:
- chronic atonic constipation;
- chronic enterocolitis, proctitis - as part of complex therapy;
- mild forms of diffuse toxic goiter (bazedovy disease) - as part of complex therapy;
- prevention of endemic goiter, atherosclerosis;
- as an additional remedy for hyperthyroidism.
Structure
The active substance is thallus kelp.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug or to iodine preparations;
- hypersensitivity to seaweed;
- tendency to bleeding, nephritis, hemorrhagic diathesis, furunculosis, pulmonary tuberculosis.
Mode of application
Adults apply ½-1 teaspoon of sea kale in the morning or in the evening, with ⅓-½ cup of water.
With thyroid dysfunction, the course of treatment is 15-30 days, in other cases, the duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.
