Kalgan rhizomes

The drug "Kalgan" is used for the following indications:

• diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (gastritis, dyspepsia, enteritis, enterocolitis);
• gastric, intestinal and uterine (in inflammatory processes) bleeding;
• with inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and throat - externally.

Structure

The active substance is the cinquefoil of an erect rhizome.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug;
• constipation.

Mode of application

Place one tablespoon of crushed rhizomes in an enameled bowl, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, strain, squeeze the remainder into strained broth. The volume of the broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. Apply to adults in a warm form 30-40 minutes before a meal, one tablespoon 3-5 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks.

Externally apply to adults and children in the form of rinses.

Pregnant women

The use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated.

Children

The drug is used for children only externally - with inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and throat.

Drivers

The ability of the drug to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms has not been established.

Overdose

There may be pain in the stomach, in the event of which it is necessary to cancel the drug.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions may develop. Mucosal irritation is possible. When administered, pain in the stomach, nausea, and vomiting are possible. If adverse reactions occur, stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C, out of the reach of children.

Store the prepared broth in the refrigerator (at a temperature of 2-8 ° C) for no more than 2 days.

Shelf life is 4 years.
