Pharmacological properties
the components that make up the herbal medicinal product have complex activity.
Polysaccharides of chamomile and marshmallow stimulate a non-specific reaction of the immune system by increasing the phagocytosis of macrophages and granulocytes. These active components increase the intracellular destruction of bacteria during phagocytosis due to increased release of active oxygen metabolites that have a bactericidal property. Polysaccharides, essential oils and flavonoids (chamomile, marshmallow and yarrow) reduce swelling of the mucous membrane during respiratory tract infections. In vitro studies have shown that oak bark, which contains many tannins, also exhibits an antiviral effect on the influenza virus.
Horsetail, which is part of the drug, enhances these effects due to its well-known healing and prophylactic properties.
Pharmacokinetics No data available.
