Horsetail Field Grass

The medicine "Horsetail field grass" is used for the following indications:

• heart and other diseases accompanied by edema;
• urinary tract diseases (pyelitis, cystitis, urethritis);
• pulmonary, nasal, uterine, and hemorrhoidal bleeding;
• acute and chronic lead poisoning (as part of complex therapy).

Structure

One pack contains (active substance) horsetail field grass (Equiseti arvensis herba) 50 g.

Contraindications

• jade, nephrosis, nephrosonephritis;
• hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug.

Mode of application

Place two tablespoons of grass in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, close the lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the remainder into strained infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Take warm 3-4 times a day 1 hour after a meal:

• adults and children over 14 years old - ¼ cup;
• children 12-14 years old - two tablespoons.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually. Shake the infusion before use.

The drug is prescribed for children aged 12 years.
