Pharmacological properties

It has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic effect, normalizes the level of uric acid in blood plasma. the active components of the drug inhibit the formation of interleukin (il) -1 and il-6, a tumor necrosis factor, as well as other pro-inflammatory cytokines, block the mitotic activity of neutrophilic granulocytes, lymphocytes, fibroblasts, thereby preventing the destruction of cartilage tissue in the affected joints.

Indications

Acute and chronic arthritis, polyarthritis; joint damage with rheumatism; gout, gouty arthritis; deforming osteoarthrosis; osteochondrosis; musculoskeletal injuries; neuralgia, myalgia, myositis, arthralgia.

Application

In the chronic course of the disease, the initial dose is 5-10 drops 1-3 times a day. with insufficient effect, the dose should be increased to 15 drops 3 times a day. the duration of therapy is determined individually, however, it should be at least 4-6 weeks.

In acute cases, 5-10 drops are prescribed every 30-60 minutes, but no more than 12 times a day. With a decrease in the severity of inflammatory phenomena, the dose is reduced to 10 drops 3 times a day, in which the drug is taken for 1 month. In the future, they switch to taking the drug in a maintenance dose - 10 drops 1 time per day or every other day for a long time.

Drops are taken 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after eating on a piece of sugar or bread, dissolving them slowly, or with a sip of water, holding it in your mouth for as long as possible.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. the use of the drug in children is not well understood. prescribing it to children under the age of 12 years, as well as during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended due to the alcohol content.

After taking the first dose of the drug, a short-term increase in the main symptoms of the disease is possible (homeopathic effect of the first dose). in this case, it is necessary to temporarily reduce the dose or frequency of administration. In connection with the content of ethyl alcohol, the use of Homvio-Revman in patients with liver diseases, epilepsy or with organic lesions of the nervous system is recommended under the supervision of a doctor.

In recommended doses, it does not affect the speed of psychomotor reactions when driving vehicles and working with potentially dangerous mechanisms, however, it should be borne in mind that the drug contains ethyl alcohol.

Smoking, alcohol and tonic drinks (tea, coffee) have a weakening effect on the effect of homeopathic remedies.

Overdose

A significant overdose of the drug can cause alcohol intoxication. the use of the entire contents of the bottle (50 ml) corresponds to the introduction of 22 g of ethyl alcohol into the body.
