Pharmacological properties

The drug hepar compositum is a complex homeopathic preparation that has hepatoprotective (membrane stabilizing), antioxidant, choleretic, detoxification, regenerating, metabolic, venotonic effects on the liver.

Due to its ability to normalize the work of the liver parenchyma, Hepar compositum is included in the pathogenetic therapy regimen for patients of any age groups with chronic sluggish diseases of almost all organs and systems.

Indications

Acute and chronic diseases of the hepatobiliary system (viral and toxic hepatitis, fatty hepatosis, cholangitis, cholecystitis, cirrhosis of the liver, etc.);

violation of the detoxification function of the liver in chronic diseases of the internal organs;

digestive disorders (intolerance to fats, proteins, gastrocardial syndrome, diarrhea, tenesmus, colic, etc.);

Application

Adults: usually 1 ampoule 1-3 times a week i / m, iv, s / c to acupuncture points (homeosiniatria), segmental (s / c along the edge of the right costal arch); children: infants and up to 2 years of age - from 1/6 to 1/4 of the contents of the ampoule; from 2 to 6 years - from 1/3 to 1/2 of the contents of the ampoule; from 6 years - 1 ampoule 1-3 times a week.

In gastroenterology, Hepar compositum is used in the treatment of almost all liver diseases (alcoholic liver steatosis, chronic persistent hepatitis C, chronic non-specific hepatitis, diabetic fatty hepatosis, portal cirrhosis, etc.). At the same time, it is combined with Hepel, Traumeel S, Lymphomyosot, Galium-Heel preparations. In diseases of the upper digestive tract (gastritis, gastroduodenitis, reactive pancreatitis, biliary dyskinesia, dyspepsia) Hepar compositum, in addition to Hepel, Traumeel S, Lymphomyosot, Galium-Heel, is used together with Mucosa compositum, Momordika compositum.

In endocrinology, Hepar compositum is used as part of the complex therapy of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (together with the preparations Lymphomyosot N, Placenta compositum, Momordica compositum), in particular in children. Thanks to the membrane-stabilizing and antioxidant action of Hepar, the compositum manages to restrain the processes of lipid peroxidation, impaired structure and permeability of the membranes of hepatocytes and erythrocytes, and to inhibit the development of degenerative processes in the parenchyma of the pancreas and other parenchymatous organs.

In neurology, in the treatment of encephalopathy of toxic genesis, Hepar compositum is used in addition to basic therapy in conjunction with the preparations Cerebrum compositum N, Coenzyme compositum, Ubiquinone compositum.It is advisable to use Hepar compositum in the complex treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome (as a drainage and detoxification agent).
