Indications
Symptomatic treatment of dry cough of various etiologies in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, including acute and chronic bronchitis, flu.
Application
Broncholytin tab is used internally, it is recommended to take the drug after a meal.
Adults A single dose for adults is 40 mg, which is used 2-3 times a day. In more severe cases, a single dose can be increased to 80 mg. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 200 mg.
Children from 4 years old. A single dose is 10 mg, which is taken 2-3 times a day.
The maximum daily dose should not exceed 40 mg.
Patients with impaired liver and kidney function. For patients with kidney and liver diseases, it is necessary to reduce the dose of the drug or increase the interval between doses.
The duration of treatment with Broncholytin Tab should not exceed 5 days. The use of the drug for a longer period and in higher doses is possible only as directed and under the constant supervision of a doctor.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active or any of the excipients of the drug; arterial hypotension; acute myocardial infarction.
Side effects
The drug is characterized by good tolerance. rarely, when applying a high single dose in excess of 80 mg, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, weakness and fatigue, nausea and vomiting, and a decrease in hell may occur. allergic reactions are possible, including itching, rashes on the skin.

Dye E 110 or E 124 can cause allergic reactions.

Interactions

Broncholytin Tab can be used simultaneously with bronchodilators, cardiovascular drugs.
The active substance is effectively combined with ephedrine, citric acid, basil oil in combined preparations in the form of syrups to reduce the intensity of coughing.
Overdose
Symptoms: dizziness, headache, drowsiness, weakness and fatigue, nausea, vomiting, decreased hell.
