Hard gelatin capsules of green color. The contents of the capsule is a mixture of granules and powder from light brown to dark brown with a greenish tint. It is allowed to apply the trademark of the enterprise - ST on the capsule.

Phytolite forte has antispasmodic, diuretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, regulates mineral metabolism. It reduces the frequency and intensity of renal colic, normalizes the physico-chemical parameters of urine, leads to the restoration of optimal urodynamics and urine homeostasis, and reduces leukocyturia. Promotes leaching of sand and small stones, prevents an increase in stones or the appearance of new ones. Phytolite forte has a positive effect on the state of spermatogenesis under experimental prostatitis (sperm concentration increases, the duration of the preservation of sperm movement and the percentage of moving forms, the number of pathologically altered spermatozoa decreases, acid and osmotic resistance change in a positive direction).

Indications for use. Treatment and prevention of urolithiasis (the presence in the kidneys and ureters of primary and recurring stones of various sizes and localizations); complications caused by the passage of stone fragments after shock wave lithotripsy; with renal colic; prevention of the formation of urinary calculi after their surgical removal and / or independent exit; in the complex maintenance treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the lower urinary tract (cystitis, urethritis) and with chronic prostatitis.

Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Glomerulonephritis. Pregnancy and lactation. Childrens age up to 12 years.

Special warnings. Phytolite forte can be used in combination with antimicrobial agents. If the following side effects occur, the drug must be taken after meals, but its administration should not be discontinued. To facilitate the exit of calculi, it is recommended to drink a large amount of water (1.5–2 l) for 2–3 hours.

If patients with urolithiasis have severe pyuria, antimicrobial agents are indicated.

Use during pregnancy or lactation. The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms. Not known.

Children. The drug is contraindicated in children under the age of 12 years.

Dosage and administration. With urolithiasis, adults and children over the age of 12 take Phytolith forte before meals, 1 capsule 3 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is 20-30 days.

After a break, the course of treatment can be repeated.

In order to prevent relapse of stone formation in the kidneys and ureters after shock-wave lithotripsy, Fitolit forte is prescribed 1 capsule 3 times a day for 5-15 days, and after surgical removal of stones and / or their independent discharge 1 capsule 3 times a day within 1–2 months. With renal colic in adults, Fitolit forte is prescribed 1 capsule after eliminating the pain syndrome with painkillers.

For chronic cystitis, urethritis and prostatitis, Fitolit forte is used 1 capsule 3 times a day for 21–28 days. The course can be repeated after 2 weeks. The number of treatment courses is determined by the doctor, depending on the condition of the patient.

If it is necessary to prescribe the drug in small doses, for example, in patients with chronic pyelonephritis, you can switch to taking Phytolite tablets.

Overdose. No toxic effects of the drug have been noted. With a single dose of more than 10 capsules, an increase in the manifestations of the described side effect is possible. In case of an overdose, gastric lavage and activated charcoal are recommended.

Side effects. Phytolite forte is well tolerated by patients and usually does not cause side effects. Mild dyspeptic symptoms in the form of nausea and a feeling of discomfort in the epigastric region, vomiting, and diarrhea are possible.

In persons with hypersensitivity, allergic reactions (redness, rash, itching) may occur.
