Eucalyptus leaves

The medicinal product “Eucalyptus prismiform leaves” is used for the following indications: diseases of the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract (stomatitis, gingivitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, tracheitis), fresh and infected wounds, inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs.

Structure

One pack contains (active substance) 75 g of eucalyptus rod-shaped leaves (Eucalypti viminalis folia).

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug;
• bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, whooping cough, false croup.

Mode of application

Place two tablespoons of leaves in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, close the lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the remainder into strained infusion. Bring the volume of infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Shake the infusion before use.

Externally apply for inhalation and rinsing 3-4 times a day:

• adults and children over 12 years old - one tablespoon of infusion diluted in 200 ml of boiled water;
• children 7-12 years old - one dessert spoon of infusion diluted in 200 ml of boiled water;
• children 3-7 years old - one teaspoon of infusion diluted in 200 ml of boiled water.

The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually for each patient.

Application features

Pregnant women

Use as directed by a doctor if the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus / child.

Children

The drug is used for children aged 3 years.

Drivers

The drug does not affect the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.

Overdose

With prolonged and frequent inhalation use, dryness of the mucous membranes of the respiratory system is possible.

Side effects

Allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin edema, urticaria, contact dermatitis). If adverse reactions occur, stop taking the drug.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, out of the reach of children.

Store the prepared infusion at a temperature of 8-15 ° C for no more than 2 days.

Shelf life is 2 years.
