Pharmacological properties

The components of the collection contain essential oil, flavonoids, coumarins, polysaccharides, organic acids, mineral salts, carotene, ascorbic acid, tannins, bitterness, resins. this complex of biologically active substances has an antimicrobial effect against staphylococcus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, vulgar protein, fluffy microsporum and some other microorganisms, exhibits anti-inflammatory properties and stimulates reparative processes.

Indications

In the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the ear, throat and nose; inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and gastrointestinal tract.

Application

10 g (2 tablespoons) of the collection are placed in an enameled dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the residue is squeezed to the filtered infusion. the volume of infusion is adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml. used locally for rinsing, lotions, microclysters, irrigation and inhalation in a diluted form (diluted with water 3-4 times). adults take 1/3 cup undiluted infusion 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. children, depending on age - from 1 tablespoon to 1/4 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. Shake the infusion before use.

2 filter bags are placed in glass or enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 cup) boiling water, close and leave for 15 minutes. Adults take in a warm form 1 glass 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. Children according to age ¹/₄–¹/₂ cups 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. The infusion is used topically for rinsing, lotions, microclysters, irrigation and inhalation.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually, taking into account the nature, severity and characteristics of the course of the disease, persistence of the achieved therapeutic effect and tolerability of the drug.

Individual hypersensitivity to biologically active substances contained in the drug.
