Pharmacological properties

The use of the plant-based anti-inflammatory component of chamomile infusion and local anesthetics, lidocaine and polydocanol 600 (macrogol lauryl ether) in a low dose specially selected for children prevents the occurrence of pain during teething.

Chamomile tincture: anti-inflammatory herbal component.

Lidocaine hydrochloride: local anesthetic component in an active, but safe dose (0.34%).

Polydocanol 600 (macrogol lauryl ether): a local anesthetic component that is well retained on the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and has a long therapeutic effect.

The drug does not cause tooth decay.

Indications

To facilitate teething (elimination of gum irritation, inflammation and pain).

Application

At the first signs of teething with a finger or a cotton swab, apply a drop of pea-sized gel to the gum at the site of teething and it is easy to rub. applications should be carried out 2-3 times a day, especially after meals and before bedtime.

Dentinox-gel N can be used before the appearance of all deciduous teeth, as well as during the eruption of molars.

Contraindications

Cases of known hypersensitivity to chamomile or other compound flowers, lidocaine or similar local anesthetics (amide type), hypersensitivity to one of the other components of the drug.

Damage to the oral mucosa.

Given the content of sorbitol, the drug is not recommended for use in the treatment of patients with congenital hypersensitivity to fructose.

Side effects

Temporary slight burning, irritation, redness. allergic reactions, including contact allergic reactions, skin rashes, itching, angioedema, are possible. in case of any adverse reactions should stop using the drug and be sure to consult a doctor.
