Structure:

Active ingredients: chloral hydrate, racemic camphor;

1 ml of the preparation contains chloral hydrate 333 mg, camphor racemic 333 mg;

excipients: ethanol 96%.

Basic physical and chemical properties: colorless transparent liquid with the smell of camphor.

Pharmacodynamics

The drug has a moderate analgesic and antiseptic effect, due to the pharmacological properties of the substances that make up its composition.

Toothache in case of caries, including complicated by pulpitis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the substances that make up the drug, a tendency to seizures, bronchial asthma.

Avoid contact of the solution with a damaged mucous membrane.

Features of the application.

If any adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use of the drug and wash off its residues from the site of use.

Use during pregnancy or lactation.

Since the drug contains ethanol, it should not be prescribed to pregnant or breastfeeding women.

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.

The drug affects the speed of psychomotor reactions, therefore, during the treatment period, you should avoid driving or working with mechanisms.

Dosage and administration.

Apply to adults.

To eliminate toothache, a cotton swab moistened with 2-3 drops of the drug should be placed in the carious cavity of the tooth for 5-10 minutes.

Children.

The drug should not be used to treat children.

Overdose.

In case of accidental ingestion, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, symptoms of depression of the central nervous system, dizziness, ataxia, cramps, hot flashes, drowsiness, shortness of breath are possible.

The treatment is symptomatic.

From the nervous system: dizziness, drowsiness, headache, agitation, convulsions.

From the respiratory system, chest organs: bronchospasm.

Allergic reactions, including rash, urticaria, pruritus, erythema.
