Pharmacological properties

The drug reduces the sensitivity of the mucous membranes to a variety of irritants (smells, tobacco smoke, changes in ambient temperature) and allergens (plant pollen, household dust, wool).

It does not become addictive or weaken the therapeutic effect even with prolonged use.

In patients with manifestations of chronic atrophic rhinitis, such as dry nasal mucosa, hypersensitivity and bleeding of the mucous membrane, the drug restores goblet cells, nutrition and the structure of the mucous membrane. Moisturizes the mucous membrane, reduces its dryness and crusting. Promotes healing processes of the mucous membrane, restores its protective function, normalizes nasal breathing and smell.

The drug has a direct antimicrobial effect, enhances local immunity and restores the normal biocenosis of the mucous membrane of the nasopharynx.

Indications

Local treatment of acute and chronic runny nose (rhinitis, rhinosinusitis) of any etiology (infectious, viral or bacterial, vasomotor, allergic, including hay fever, hay fever); inflammation of the auditory tube (eustachitis).

Application

Adults and children aged 12 years: at the beginning of treatment, use 2 injections in each nasal passage every half hour to an hour (maximum 8 times a day).

Children aged 3-12 years: at the beginning of treatment, apply 1 injection every half hour to one nasal passage (maximum 8 times a day).

After improvement, apply 3-4 times a day.

1 injection ≈ 120 mg.

The duration of treatment. In the chronic course of the disease, the course of treatment can be 4 weeks.

If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated.

Mode of application:

1. Remove the protective cap.

2. Before using the drug for the first time, it is necessary to press the sprayer several times until spray spray appears.

3. Introduce the atomizer alternately into each nostril and inject.

Each time after use, wipe the spray bottle and close it.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side effects

In people with hypersensitivity, allergic reactions are possible. after the use of the drug, hypersalivation is possible. due to the presence of benzalkonium chloride in the preparation, bronchospasm may develop. no information on the incidence of adverse reactions.

At the beginning of treatment, a short-term slight increase in secretion in the form of serous-mucous discharge from the nose is possible, which indicates the action of the drug, the effective drainage of the paranasal sinuses, nasal cavity and their release from the accumulated mucus. This is a favorable sign and does not require cancellation or correction of the dose of the drug.

Delufen contains plant and other natural components; during storage, a slight change in the transparency or color of the solution is possible. This does not lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug.

Use during pregnancy and lactation. The drug has a local effect. Information regarding any risk to the fetus and the baby resulting from the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation has not yet been recorded, so Delufen can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles and other mechanisms. The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or work with other mechanisms.

Children. Not recommended for use in children under 3 years of age. In children aged 3-6 years, the drug is used in accordance with the recommendation of a doctor.

Interactions

Clinically significant interaction with other pharmacological agents has not been established. the drug can be combined with any medications and treatment methods.
