

Biocycline tablets are used in the complex treatment of premenstrual syndrome: mental lability, headache or migraine, swelling, mastodynia (engorgement and tenderness of the mammary glands) before menstruation; menstrual irregularity associated with yellow body failure.
Active ingredient: native dry extract of common barley fruit;
1 tablet contains: * native dry extract of common barley fruit (Agni casti fructus) (7-13: 1) - 45 mg, (extractant ethanol 60%);
* Contains 10% native extract, 90% glucose dry syrup;
Excipients: lactose, potato starch, magnesium stearate, povidone.
Hypersensitivity to the fruits of the common barley or to any of the auxiliary components of the drug.
The drug is taken in 1 tablet for adult women whose body weight does not exceed 60 kg, women whose body weight is more than 60 kg - 2 tablets 1 time per day in the morning.
Treatment lasts for 3 months without interruption during menstruation.

When used in high doses, significantly higher than recommended, gastrointestinal disturbances or a laxative effect in patients with lactose intolerance are possible.

Following the use of drugs containing the common barley fruit, the following symptoms have been reported: gastrointestinal upsets (nausea, stomach pain), headache and dizziness, acne, menstrual irregularities; allergic reactions may occur, including skin rashes, itching, hives, facial swelling, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing or swallowing.
In rare cases, psychomotor agitation, confusion and hallucinations are possible. There is no data on the frequency of occurrence of such possible adverse reactions.
If any adverse reactions occur, discontinue use of the drug and consult a doctor.
To date, there is no information about any interactions with other drugs.
