Complex tincture Bronchophyt is indicated for acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by cough with the formation of viscous sputum: acute and chronic bronchitis (including with broncho-obstructive component), bronchiectasis, pneumonia.

Structure

Active ingredients: 1 ml of the drug contains a tincture complex of a mixture of medicinal plant materials BRONHOFIT:

• calamus roots (Calami radix) - 9 mg;
• root marshmallow (Althaeae radix) - 9 mg;
• linden flowers (Tiliae flos) - 9 mg;
• flower marigolds (Calendulae flos) - 9 mg;
• licorice roots (Liquiritiae radix) - 9 mg;
• Salvia officinalis (Salviae officinalis folium) - 9 mg;
• elderberry flowers (Sambuci flos) - 8 mg;
• nettle leaves (Urticae folium) - 8 mg;
• peppermint leaves (Menthae piperitae folium) - 8 mg;
• thyme herb (Serpylli herba) - 8 mg;
• elecampane roots (Inulae helenii radix) - 7 mg;
• chamomile flowers (Matricariae flos) - 7 mg;
• (1:10) (extractant - ethanol 40%).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any components of the drug or to other plants of the family Lamiaceae (Lamiaceae), as well as a known allergy to celery and birch pollen (a cross reaction is possible). Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, acute and chronic renal failure, acute and chronic liver failure, cirrhosis, cholestatic disorders, hypokalemia, arterial hypertension, ІІІ Art. History of alcoholism. Concomitant use of preparations containing ethyl alcohol; antipsychotics, tranquilizers; alcohol consumption.

Mode of application

Bronchophyte should be prescribed to adults with an acute form of the disease by mouth, 2 teaspoons (10 ml) 2 times a day, 30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal. After reducing the severity of the process, it is recommended to use a drug of 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 3 times a day 30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal. It is advisable to use the drug in the form of heat (5-10 ml per half a glass (120 ml) of warm water). The maximum daily dose is 40 ml.

The duration of use is determined by the doctor individually. Usually the course of treatment is 7-14 days.

During the period of use of the drug, one should refrain from potentially dangerous types of activity that require increased attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles and working with complex mechanisms).

Overdose

An overdose is accompanied by acute alcohol poisoning, the symptoms of which are similar to those of ethyl alcohol poisoning. At a concentration of alcohol in the blood of 3-4 g / l (300-400 mg /%), severe intoxication develops.

Treatment: gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.

It is also possible the appearance of dyspeptic symptoms, increased blood pressure and increased manifestations of adverse reactions.

Side effects

The drug is usually well tolerated by patients. However, given the multicomponent composition of the drug, in some cases, as a rule, with individual hypersensitivity to any component or a violation of the recommended regimen of its administration, it is possible to develop allergic reactions, including hyperemia, rashes, itching, skin swelling, contact dermatitis, urticaria; gastrointestinal upsets, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. In the event of any negative reactions, consult a doctor.

Interaction

The drug should not be used with drugs that inhibit cough, due to the possible accumulation of sputum in the respiratory tract.

With prolonged use simultaneously with cardiac glycosides, adrenocorticosteroids, antiarrhythmic drugs (quinidine), laxatives, thiazide and loop diuretics, a violation of the water-electrolyte balance is possible.

The drug can enhance the effect of sleeping pills, tranquilizers.
