Pharmacological properties

bellastesin is a combined drug that contains belladonna extract and benzocaine. It has an analgesic and antispasmodic effect. the analgesic effect is due to the effect of benzocaine, a local anesthetic, and the antispasmodic effect is due to the belladonna alkaloids effect.

Indications

Cramping and pain in the stomach; gallstone disease - to eliminate spasm; with spasms of smooth muscles of other organs of the abdominal cavity.

Application

Bellastesin is administered orally by 1 tablet no more than 3 times a day. the duration of administration depends on the severity of the disease, therapeutic effect, the use of the drug as monotherapy or in combination with other agents.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components of bellastesin, glaucoma, suspected glaucoma, prostate adenoma; lactation period.

Side effects

Dry mouth, ageusia, loss of appetite, drowsiness, dizziness, tachycardia, speech impairment, agitation, dilated pupils.
