Bearberry leaves

The medicine "Bearberry leaves" is used for the following indications: inflammatory diseases of the kidneys, bladder and urinary tract (pyelitis, cystitis, urethritis), renal failure with impaired water and mineral metabolism - as part of complex therapy.

Structure

One pack contains (active substance) bearberry leaves (Uvae ursi folia) - 50 g.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug.

Mode of application

Place one tablespoon of the leaves in an enameled bowl, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, close the lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, then strain immediately, squeeze the residue into a strained broth. The volume of the broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. Adults and children over 16 years of age should take one tablespoon warm 5-6 times a day 40 minutes after eating. For children, the broth should be prepared at the rate of one teaspoon of leaves per 100 ml of water. Children use the broth 4 times a day 40 minutes after eating:

• at the age of 5-7 years - one teaspoon each;
• 7-12 years old - one dessert spoon;
• 12-16 years old - two dessert spoons.

The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually for each patient. Shake the broth before use.

Application features

Pregnant women

The use of the drug is contraindicated during pregnancy. It is possible to use during breastfeeding if the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the baby.

Children

The drug is used for children from 5 years old as prescribed by a doctor.

Drivers

The drug does not affect the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.

Overdose

If the recommended doses are exceeded and prolonged use, renal function impairment, miscarriage in pregnant women is possible. The treatment is symptomatic.

Side effects

Urine staining in a dark green color, allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, swelling of the skin), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. If adverse reactions occur, stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C, out of the reach of children.

Store the prepared infusion at a temperature of 8-15 ° C for no more than 2 days.

Shelf life is 5 years.
