Interactions

The absorption of ascorbic acid is reduced with the simultaneous use of oral contraceptives, the use of fruit or vegetable juices, alkaline drinking.
Oral ascorbic acid increases the absorption of penicillin, tetracycline, iron, and increases the risk of crystalluria during treatment with salicylates.
Overdose
