

Abizol tablets are intended for:
Active substance: aripiprazole;
1 tablet contains aripiprazole - 5 mg.
Excipients: attracts (E 421), crospovidone, povidone, indigo varnish (E 132), magnesium stearate.
Hypersensitivity to aripiprazole or to any other component that is part of the drug. Phenylketonuria.
Tablets are used by adults inside.
Schizophrenia. The recommended initial dose of the drug is 10 or 15 mg 1 time per day, regardless of food intake. The maintenance dose is 15 mg per day. The effective dose is from 10 to 30 mg per day. An increase in the effectiveness of the drug with a dose of more than 15 mg has not been demonstrated, although some patients may need a higher dose. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 30 mg.
Manic episodes in type I bipolar disorder. The recommended initial dose is 15 mg 1 time per day, regardless of food intake, both with monotherapy and with combination therapy. Some patients require a higher dose. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 30 mg.
Prevention of repeated manic episodes in type I bipolar disorder. For the prevention of manic episodes in patients receiving aripiprazole as monotherapy or with combination therapy, treatment should be continued in the same doses.
As with other antipsychotics, patients should be warned about the effect of the drug on the ability to drive vehicles or other mechanisms.
There were reports of accidental or deliberate overdose of aripiprazole with a single dose of up to 1260 mg, not accompanied by a fatal outcome.
Potential medically important symptoms included lethargy, high blood pressure, drowsiness, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In addition, cases of overdose with aripiprazole in children have been described (intake up to 195 mg), were not accompanied by a fatal outcome. Potentially dangerous overdose symptoms include drowsiness, transient loss of consciousness, and extrapyramidal disorders.
The most common side effects are akathisia and nausea.
