Structure:

Active ingredients: 19.55 g of powder contain: marshmallow root of dry extract (althaeae radix extractum siccum) - 4.0 g; sodium bicarbonate - 2.0 g; licorice root of dry extract (glycyrrhizae radix extractum siccum) - 1.0 g; ammonium chloride - 0.5 g; aniseed oil - 0.05 g;

excipients: sodium benzoate, confectionery sugar.

Basic physical and chemical properties: powder from light beige to brownish-gray with the smell of anise oil. During storage, it is possible to whip the powder into lumps or form a solid porous mass, should disintegrate when diluted with water. The aqueous suspension of the drug (1: 10) has a color from light to dark brown.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. organic heart lesions (myocarditis, pericarditis, myocardial infarction), arterial hypertension, impaired liver and kidney function; hypokalemia, severe obesity.

Interaction with other drugs and other types of interactions.

Concomitant use with cardiac glycosides, antiarrhythmic drugs (quinidine), thiazide and loop diuretics, adrenocorticosteroids and laxatives can enhance hypokalemia.

It is not recommended to use together with antitussive agents.
