The active substance of the drug is dexpanthenol - provitamin B5 and allantoin. In skin cells, dexpanthenol is rapidly converted to pantothenic acid and acts as a vitamin. Dexpanthenol is faster than pantothenic acid, absorbed after external use. Pantothenic acid is a component of coenzyme A. In this form, acetyl coenzyme A plays a central role in the metabolism of each cell. Pantothenic acid is, therefore, necessary for the formation and healing of damaged skin and mucous membranes.
When applied externally, dexpanthenol is rapidly absorbed by the skin. In skin cells, dexpanthenol immediately turns into pantothenic acid and enters the endogenous fund of this vitamin.
In the blood, pantothenic acid binds to β-globulin and plasma albumin. Pantothenic acid does not undergo biotransformation, it is removed unchanged (60-70% is excreted in the urine, the rest with feces). Allantoin has an anti-inflammatory, constricting effect, softens and stimulates the granulation of the epidermis. Alantoin regenerates the epithelium, reduces soreness.

Indications for use.

Various injuries of the skin and mucous membranes, including abrasions, burns, aseptic postoperative wounds, skin grafts, bullous and vesicular dermatitis.

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.

The aerosol can is under pressure, therefore it is necessary to prevent falls, shock, exposure to direct sunlight and should not be heated to temperatures above 25 ° C. Do not use on wet wounds. In the treatment of wounds and burns, the drug is used at the regeneration stage. At the end of the use of the drug, do not open or burn the balloon. Do not spray the product near open flames or on incandescent objects. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact with the product, they must be thoroughly rinsed with water. There are no restrictions on the use in children and the elderly, but children should use the drug only under the supervision of adults.

Use during pregnancy or lactation.
There are no contraindications. During lactation, the drug is applied to the skin of the mammary glands after breastfeeding.

The duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease and is determined individually by the doctor.Do not use near open flames or very hot objects. The cylinder is under pressure. Panthenol can enhance the effect of depolarizing muscle relaxants (suxamethonium, decametonium) and reduce the effect of non-depolarizing muscle relaxants (D-tubocurarine, halamine) due to the fact that it stimulates the synthesis of acetocholine.
