These effects cause activation of the processes of restoration of the cartilage structure and prevent the destruction of the macromolecular structures of the cartilage tissue.

By restoring homeostasis in the joint, the drug inhibits the biosynthesis of inflammatory mediators, including cytokines. Therefore, the drug has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, which manifests itself on the 8-10th day of therapy.

The proteoglycans that make up the drug have a trophic effect and have a substitution effect, significantly increase the MRI indices of hydrophilicity, cartilage height and bone uniformity.

Indications

• Degenerative rheumatic diseases: osteoarthrosis of various localization (coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis, arthrosis of small joints); spondylosis; recovery period after injuries and surgical interventions on the joints.

Application

The drug is prescribed for adults.

Alflutop is administered deeply in oil. Usually, 1 ml is prescribed 1 r / day, the course of therapy is 20 days.

In case of damage to large joints, the drug is administered intraarticularly in 1-2 ml with an interval of 3 days between injections. The course of therapy is 5 injections into each joint.

For medical reasons, the course of therapy is repeated after 3-6 months.

Contraindications

Side effects

Rarely: changes at the injection site, including a burning sensation at the injection site, skin hyperemia.

In rare cases: transient increase in pain (with intra-articular administration due to activation of metabolism and intensification of blood circulation), short-term myalgia. Hypersensitivity reactions are also noted, including rash, dermatitis, urticaria, pruritus, angioedema, anaphylactic shock.

Use during pregnancy and lactation. Do not prescribe during pregnancy and lactation.

Children. The drug is not prescribed for children and adolescents due to the lack of clinical data confirming the safety and effectiveness of its use in these age groups.

Interactions

With the simultaneous use of alflutop with local anesthetics, primarily derivatives of pubic acid (procaine, etc.), it is necessary to remember the side effects of the latter.
